10 Blogs You Should Follow

Being new to the blogging world, I have discovered so many wonderful blogs! I find myself finding inspiration from these blogs, the blogs that are unique, honest, and won’t put me to sleep. The following list contains just a few that I check out frequently. They have all passed the “fun, quirky and out there” test. (Some more serious than others, but still..) All of them are fantastic! Check them out. 🙂

1. Cheezburger

Cheezburger is a company that actually provides multiple hilarious social media websites and blogs. These include The Daily What, FAIL Blog, Memebase and more. To get the best user experience simply visit the main page by clicking here. My favorite thing about Cheezburger has definitely got to be the cat memes, adorable animal gifs, and the puns section. If you love new and updated content without having to read much, then you will like this pick.

2. Cracked

This is probably one of my most favorite blog sites. You get a wide variety of interesting blog topics to read that include “Satisfying Acts of Revenge“, “6 Crucial Yet Ridiculous Things to Know About your Dog. and “5 Celebrity Jerk Moves So WTF, They’d Put Kanye To Shame”.

What I also like about this site is the quantity of content, variety of content and the easy navigation of the website. You literally could browse this sight for hours and stay entertained and learn alot at the same time. Yeah….so I pretty much love this site more than I love myself.

3. Sad and Useless

This site is definitely not actually sad and useless, but claims to to be “the most depressive humor site on the internet”.  That in itself is quite funny, but the content is actually hilarious. For example, this post about Cowboy Boot Sandals. I died a little inside because I couldn’t believe these things actually exist.

4. Dilbert – Scott Adams’ Blog

This is not a humor based blog, but the site itself features comics and they are really funny if you need a quick laugh. What I like about this blog is that the content provides a non-mainstream media perspective on current events and politics intertwined with just the right amount of humor. Best Part: No Fake News. 🙂

5. Passive-Aggressive Notes

This blog site features tons of funny and sometimes “passive agressive notes”.  Most material involves photos of notes being left on items they don’t want people using, annoyance with people aiming incorrectly when urinating, stealing food, or notes threatening to eat someone’s liver if they touch their plants. Do you have funny notes that you have saved or taken a photo of? You can share them to the blog as well by submitting them here.

6. Sarah Scoop

An awesome lifestyle blog by Sarah Ruhlman that includes yummy recipes, D.I.Y.s, Beauty, Fashion, and even giveaways. I really like the layout of this site as well. Tons of content and easy scrolling on every page. Highly recommended for sure. “8 Tricks to Make Yourself Look Thinner in Photos”? Sign me up!

7.  The Confused Millennial

Another blog that I highly recommend. The layout is beautiful and I am sort of jealous lol. Rachel, the founder, offers tons of great relationship advice, health, DIY, wellness, financial, mental health, and everything else you would ever need in a lifestyle blog. It really does aim towards the millennial audience and I have found helpful tips and tools for getting through adulting.

8. Life Goals Mag

Yes, another lifestyle blog that focuses on personal growth, wellness, career and relationships. This blog has a bunch of helpful articles that range from common mistakes made on resumes, tips for making valued-based decisions, and instant mood boosters for when life gets hard.

9. Peculiar Presents

This blog gives you list and recommendation about the coolest products that you can buy online. The website in general offers thousands of ideas on gift-giving and where to find unique, “peculiar” and awesome products. What I really love about this website is that the products listed aren’t easily found online you see tons of products you never knew you needed…until now. I am talking airless tires, keychain breathalyzers, and of course one that caught my eye… Unicorn Snot. Check out the main site page here: Peculiar Presents

10. Ned’s Blog

Oh man, this blog is hilarious and I can’t get enough of it. The writer, Ned, writes about a wide variety of things including why he hasn’t worn a thong in 2 years. low-calorie treats that won’t give you diarrhea, and much more.

Hello! My name is Crystal Kelley. I have a love for writing to express my thoughts on a variety of topics. I am always inspired by new things, therefore, what I will write about next is pleasantly unpredictable. I enjoy singing, drawing, playing piano, photography and my dog. Oh, and glitter really does run through my veins.
